Now that I'm no longer in Korea, I'll probably be using this blog instead.

Jayu Park

Jayu park is just south of us. It's about a 15 minute walk, but for whatever reason, we only recently went there. (Left) Naomi took this picture of me with whomever these dudes are. (Right) I got to spend a few minutes watching men play baduk on picnic tables. I'm hoping to go back alone sometime watch.

There's a miniature road with traffic lights and signs, but in actuality it's a sidewalk.

(Left) We spent the majority of the time watching Naomi play in the playground.
(Right) Dolmen Rocks: Ancient 'table' rocks were set up all over Korea, but their purpose is unknown.  Apparently, Korea holds the most dolmens in the world.
Three of them are fenced off at the park.

After the park, we decided to get something to eat and took one of the many tunnels that take you from one side of the street to the other (like subways without the train).  This one, we discovered, was also "The Pyeongchon Culture Gallery", where framed prints were hung on the wall.  You can see students disinterestedly walking past as
they go to and from class/McDonalds/etc.
