The sole reason for my next stop was to see the Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation.
It is quite the tourist spot, with a constant stream of people, despite being a bit off the beaten track. Besides seeing the plantation itself, there were green tea restaurants, green tea ice cream stands, tea related gifts shops, et cetera.
It appeared to me that they were walking down the rows vacuuming up the leaves into giant bags...similar to a lawnmower bag.
It appears that they vacuum the leaves from the bushes.
The plantation was beautiful; Boseong, was...not. It was very hot and walking through the plantation was exhausting. All I wanted was to catch a bus to the next city.
